Hidden Dancers, by Ethan Downing, Los Angeles, Calif – Jeraldyne Blunden was motivated to create one of the premiere modern dance companies in Dayton Ohio after living through the experience of not being able to take dance lessons because of the color of her skin as a little girl during the Jim Crow era.
